ControlPath Starter

A browser-based accessibility tool for viewing supported controller input and recording preferred button-action and tap-to-toggle settings in a local profile.

Accurate limitation

Starter records profile choices. It does not change controller output, rewrite firmware, or apply the exported settings to a console, computer, or third-party device.

Exactly what the customer receives

  • Electronic access to the Starter browser module.
  • On-page instructions for connecting a supported controller.
  • Live viewing of buttons, sticks, and triggers exposed by the browser Gamepad API.
  • A planner for recording preferred action labels for supported buttons.
  • A planner for recording tap-to-toggle preferences.
  • Storage of one profile in the customer's browser.
  • Download of an controlpath-profile.json settings file.

Not included: Plus or Pro modules, hardware, drivers, firmware tools, system-level remapping, personalized setup, medical services, or physical goods.

Hardware and software requirements

  • A customer-supplied controller recognized through the Gamepad API.
  • A desktop or laptop computer.
  • A supported desktop browser with JavaScript and local storage enabled.
  • A supported USB or Bluetooth controller connection.
  • Internet access for the product access page.

Delivery, support, and refunds

When sales open, the access link and code will be delivered electronically to the purchasing email after confirmed payment. Support covers access, browser detection, documented Starter functions, local saving, and JSON export.
